To prevent heat loss, choose a hob of appropriate size for the
pot's bottom.
Do not push or pull the pot across glass ceramic, halogen or
induction hobs.
The pot is not microwave-proof.
The enamel surface is not suited for dry cooking. Always use a
little butter or vegetable oil and make sure that the pot's bottom is
fully covered before heating the pot.
The pot is ovenproof! Place the pot on an oven rack and not
directly on the floor of the oven.
fOOD-safe! This pot has no effect on the flavor and
aroma of food items.
§
use
Before first use, fill the pot with water and bring to a boil 2 to 3
times to remove any possible production residue.
Do not heat the pot too quickly. The enamel coating may crack if
the cast iron expands more quickly than the enamel.
note:
The nubs beneath the lid help induce circulation within the pot
while cooking. Rising steam condenses on the lid and is distributed
evenly on the cooking food items via the nubs. This results in your
food remaining juicy and retaining its flavor.
Due to the excellent heat storage capacity of enameled cast
iron, high temperatures are seldom necessary. Begin cooking at
medium heat and then bring down to a simmer.
