NOTE: Starting the product differs depending on whether the engine is cold
or warm.

1.

Move the ignition switch to the on position marked I. (Fig. 7)

2.

Move the choke lever upwards to the start position (cold start). (Fig. 8)

Note. This is not required if the engine is already warm.

3.

Push the primer button 8 times, until the petrol/oil mixture flows in and out of the
discharge hose located above the fuel tank. (Fig. 9)

4.

Pull the recoil starter 2-3 times until you hear the engine starting. (Fig. 10)

5.

Push the choke lever down to the run position (warm start). (Fig. 11)

6.

The engine may start, or it may be required to pull on the recoil starter until the engine
starts. (Fig. 12)

7.

Allow the engine to run idle for around 10 seconds to let it warm up.

To stop the engine

1.

Release the throttle trigger and allow the engine to idle for a few moments.

2.

Move the ignition switch to the off position marked STOP. (Fig. 13)

3.

The engine will now stop.

8.3

Operate the blower

Check your equipment before operation, especially the muffler, air intakes
and air filters.

 Start the blower. Hold the blower with the upper handle in your right hand.
 When blow, push the trigger lock to lock the trigger on height speed.
 To keep from scattering debris, blow around the outer edges of a debris pile. Never blow

directly into the center of a pile.

 Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.
 In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surface when water available.
 Conserve water by using blowers instead of hoses for many lawn and garden applications,

including areas such as gutters, screens, patios, porches and gardens.

 Watch out for children, pets, open windows.
 Use the round blower nozzle extension so the air stream can work close to the ground.
 Use the wide sweeper nozzle for the everyday blowing operation. This nozzle allow for

more area to be covered during the blowing operation.

 After using the blower or other equipment, clean up. Dispose the debris in trash

receptacles.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

WARNING Use only original manufacture’s replacement parts, accessories
and attachment. Failure to do so can cause possible injury, poor
performance.

9.1

Replacing and cleaning the air filter

 For proper performance and long life, keep air filter clean.
 Remove the cover of the air filter. (Fig. 14)
 Remove the air filter and clean it in warm soapy water. Let dry completely. For best

performance, replace the air filter annually. (Fig. 15)
