7 OPERATION

7.1

Preparatio((Fig 2)

Always unplug the machine from the mains before fitting a mixer bar.

First screw mixer part (6a) together with mixer part (6b). Screw the mixer (6) into the mixer
holder (5) afterwards. Use the two spanners to do this. Use one of the spanners (a) to hold the
mixer holder (5) in place and then use the second spanner (b) to tighten
up the mixer (6). Proceed in the reverse sequence to undo the mixer.

Always use a mixer bar that is suitable for the material to be mixed/stirred.
Using an unsuitable mixer bar can unnecessarily overload both the
machine and yourself.

 To remove the mixer bar, unscrew it from the mixer
spindle in an anticlockwise direction. The mixer bar can
become rather tight in the holder. In that case, use a spanner
to keep the holder from turning.

7.2

Switching on and off

To switch the tool on, press the switch (1) and hold it down. To switch the tool off, release the
switch (1).

7.3

Continuous operation

To switch on continuous operation: press the switch (1) up to the stop and at the same time
press the locking button (2). The switch (1) locks, and continuous operation is activated.
To switch off continuous operation: press the switch (1) again and then let go. The lock on
the switch (1) is released, and continuous operation is deactivated.

7.4

Speed preselection

The speed can be preselected steplessly with the speed controller (7).
The necessary speed depends on the type of material you wish to mix; we recommend prac-
tical testing to determine the right speed.

7.5

Gear selector switch

Two speed ranges can be selected with the gear selector switch (5) :
Gear 1

180 min-1 to 460 min-1,

Gear 2

300 min-1 to 700 min-1

It is possible to change gear when the machine is running. However, this should not be done
when the machine is at full load.
