Controlling the MLC 104

The IR 452 can control an MLC 104 through a DVCM 50 that is
connected to the MLC rear panel host port.

Refer to the DVCM 50 User's Manual for wiring

instructions.

IR 452 to MLC 104 communication process

The following occurs when you press a button on the IR 452:

1

.

An IR signal goes from the button to the IR Link or IRL 20,
then to the DVCM.

2

.

The DVCM interprets the IR signal and responds to it by
sending the appropriate SIS command to the MLC 104.

You do not need to program any buttons on the

DVCM 50 for it to interpret the signals it receives from
the IR 452.
