12. INSTALLING THE LAMP AND
GLASS SHADE

Metal nut
Light fixture
Glass shade

Beaded pull chain
Glass cap
Decorative nut
Step 1. Install the 2, 60 Watt/E12 T3 Krypton
lamps (provided). (Fig. 17)
Step 2. Remove the decorative nut, glass cap
and metal nut from the light fixture stem. Place
the glass shade over the light fixture stem,
while holding the glass shade, slip the beaded
pull chain into the outside hole in the glass
shade, and then secure the shade with a metal
nut (rubber side touching the shade). (Fig. 17)
Step 3. Slip the beaded pull chain into the hole
on the side of the decorative glass cap.
Fit the glass cap onto the light fixture stem.
Feed the beaded pull chain from the light
fixture stem through the hold in the decorative
nut and thread the decorative nut on securely.
DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. (Fig. 18)
Step 4. Attache one pull chain fob to each of
the beaded pull chains.
NOTE: Make sure to leave enough space
between the fan pull chain and the bulbs so
the chain doesn't rub against any of the lamps.
