Always ensure the firm footing and good balance
of the product. Insert the parasol in a suitable
parasol stand or ground socket, otherwise the
parasol might fall over and cause injury or
damage.

Make sure that this product is standing on a
solid, level surface.

Make sure the product is stable before use!

opening and closing the product, make sure that
there are no people standing too near to it.

your fingers when opening and closing the
product. If you are careless, you risk injuring
your fingers by crushing them!

Close the parasol in strong winds or

approaching squalls / gusts of wind.

On no account should you use the product to
protect you from bad weather.

Never leave the open parasol unattended.
Sudden gusts of wind could cause damage.

In the event of winds, snowfall or torrential
rain, close the parasol.

Do not hang any objects (e.g. clothes) on the
product.

natural product. This product was carefully
sanded and inspected. However, wood
splinters cannot be ruled out.

Assembling / disassembling

the wooden parasol

note: In order to assembly the parasol, you will
require a space measuring at least 10 m

in size

and 3.5 m in diameter.

note: You may require the help of a second
person to assemble the product.
note: Due to manufacturing reasons there may be
sanding dust mixed with the applied preservative
oil on the surface of the wood. This will rinse off
with the first rain shower and can lead to spots on
the utilized ground. Therefore, please wipe this
product off with a damp cloth before using it for
the first time. Clean this product with mild soapy
water if the cloth shows discolouration.

Proceed as follows:
1. Carefully unpack the parasol.
2. Screw the lower pole

into the upper pole

by turning it anti-clockwise (see diagram A).

TIP! Rubbing wax into the thread of the lower
pole

will make easier to screw it into the

upper pole

.

3. Place the parasol in a suitable parasol stand

(not contained in delivery).

note: Always comply with the safety and
operating instructions of the manufacturer.
note: Ensure that the parasol stand has a
minimum weight 50 kg. The lower pole

must

penetrate at least 40 cm into the parasol stand.
Non-observance of this advice could cause the
parasol to overturn, resulting in injury and / or
damage. A parasol stand is not included.

note: Some parasol stands have a fixing screw
that can be used to fix the lower pole

place. You may have to place a thin metal plate
between the lower pole

and the fixing

screw in order to avoid damage to the product.

4. When disassembling the parasol, follow the

instructions in reversed order.

Open the parasol by turning the crank handle

clockwise until the glider knocks against

the stopper

(see diagram B).

CAUTIOn! On no account should you carry
on turning the handle. Failure to observe this
instruction can lead to the product being
damaged.
