This product is intended for use outdoor but
should be plugged into a socket which is located
in an indoor location.

Before connecting to the mains, always check
the product for any damage.

Never use the product if you find damage of
any kind.

The connecting cable cannot be repaired! If the
cable is damaged, the product must be taken
out of use and disposed of in the proper way.

This product does not contain any parts which
can be serviced by the user. The bulbs cannot
be replaced.

Never open any of the electrical parts or insert
any kind of object into them.

Protect the product from sharp edges, mechanical
loads and hot surfaces.

Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.

Always remove the mains plug from the socket
before installing, dismantling or cleaning.

Never touch the mains plug or the 3D rope light

figure with wet hands.

CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING!
Do not operate the product whilst it is still in the
packaging.

Use the lighting only with the parts described
in these instructions.

If the product is not to be used for any length
of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the
power supply.

After use store the product in the original pack-

aging to avoid causing unintentional damage.

Keep the product away from ponds and other

bodies of water. Install the product at least 2 m
from water containers. Avoid locations where
flooding occurs after heavy rain.

Use the product outdoors only when connected

to a mains socket protected by a residual-
current device (RCD) with a rated trip current
of not more than 30 mA.

Outdoor mains sockets must be suitable for use

outdoors and should be at least 2.5 m from the
nearest water container or body of water.

The product is protected against splash water

(IP44). This protection standard is only possible
if the mains socket also fulfills requirements of
at least the same protection class.

Ensure that the product is not laid out through

areas in which lawn mowers, strimmers, shears
or similar cutting tools are used.

Ensure that the product does not present a trip

hazard.

If you have any questions about the product or

are unsure about any of its aspects, please seek
the advice of an electrical equipment specialist.

Before installation please ensure that there is no
concealed wiring where you are intending to drill.

cealed pipes where you are intending to drill.

Installation

Only for Z31531C-BS (Snowman) and
Z31531E-BS (Christmas tree) (Fig. A):

Bend the two wire elements carefully out from

one another.

For all models except Z31531D-BS
(Shooting star):

Stand the 3D rope light figures

on a stable

substrate.

If possible fix the 3D rope light figures

in

place with the ground spikes

Check the stability of the 3D rope light figures

Only for Z31531D-BS (Shooting star)
(Fig. B):
Check that the wall is suitable for attaching the 3D
rope light figure

before you start installation. If

necessary ask a suitable specialist about how best
to attach the product and whether the supplied
screws

and dowels

are suitable for the wall.

Mark the desired positions of the two holes to

be drilled in the wall.

Drill the holes in the desired positions.
Insert a dowel

into each of the drilled

holes.
