The socket into which this product is plugged must be protected by a residual

current circuit breaker (RCD) with a trip current not greater than 30 mA.

Sockets positioned outdoors for use with this product should be of a type

which is adequately water proof for an outdoor location and should be
located at least 2.5m from the nearest body of water or any location
where water may collect.

If in any doubt about the safe installation or use of this product, please

consult a qualified electrician.

Make sure the string of lights

is not laid down in areas where lawn

mowers, trimmers, scissors or similar cutting tools are used.

First fit the decoration

on the bulbs

(see Fig. A).

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Be very careful when you are doing
this. The bulbs

may otherwise be damaged.

Insert the supply line plug into the socket of the power pack

. Tighten

the cap nut in clockwise direction.

Push the ground spikes into a suitable surface (lawn, etc.).

Note: Arrange the decorative lights so that the distance between each
ground stake is at least 1.5 m.

Plug the power pack

into a suitable socket. The lights are switched on.

To switch the lights off, remove the power pack

3

from the socket.

Changing bulbs

DANGER TO LIFE BY ELECTRIC SHOCK! Always

unplug the power pack

from the socket before installation, dismantling,

maintenance or cleaning.

CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! Allow the string of lights

to cool

down completely before changing the bulbs

First lift the decoration

up and off the bulbs

(see Fig. A).

this. The bulbs

may otherwise be damaged.

Remove the faulty bulb

from the fitting

by bulb remover

(see Fig. B).

Plug a new bulb

into the fitting

CAUTION! Make sure that the type, operating voltage and wattage
are correct. Never use other than the stated bulbs

CAUTION! The bulbs

have a plug-in system. Never screw the bulbs

in. This can cause damage.

Note: the bulb

will only light up if it is fitted the right way round.

The marks on the bulb

and the fitting

have to be in line with one

another (see Fig. B). Remove the bulb

if it does not light up and

replace it in the opposite direction.

Note: make sure that the wires are pointing upwards and that there is
no foreign matter in the fitting

Replace the decoration

over the bulb
