Ensure that the product is installed by suitably
experienced or qualified persons only.
CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Do
not operate the light chain inside the packaging.
After use, keep the light chain in the packaging
to prevent unwanted damage.
Do not pull the light chain cable and make sure
it is laid down properly so that no one walks or
trips over it.
The product can be used on all surfaces officially
classified as being of “normal flammability“.
Do not attach any other objects to the product.
Replace defective bulbs immediately by new
bulbs. Ensure that the type, operating voltage
and wattage agree with those of the original.
Use no bulb types other than the above-indicated
bulbs.
Fix the light set in place with the supplied attach-
ment clips only.
Avoid the danger of
death from electric shock!
Before use, ensure that the mains voltage avail-
able is the same as the required operating voltage
for the device (230 V∼).
Before connecting the device to the mains you
should always check the light chain and the
mains plug for any damage.
Never use the light chain if you discover that it
is damaged in any way.
This light set‘s external flexible tube is non-re-
placeable. Hence if it becomes damaged you
must dispose of the entire light chain.
Never open any of the electrical parts or insert
any kind of object into them.
Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, me-
chanical loads and hot surfaces.
Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails.
Always unplug the mains plug from the socket
before installation, dismantling or cleaning.
Never touch the light chain plug or the light
chain itself with wet hands.
Keep the light set and mains plug away from
moisture.
The light chain must not be electrically connected
to another light chain.
Disconnect the light set from the mains supply if
you do not intend to use the product for a long
period.
If you have any questions about the product or
are unsure about any of its aspects, please seek
the advice of an electrical equipment specialist.
Operation
Using the light set
CAUTION! The bulbs 6 may become loose
during transport. Before use, check that all the
bulbs
6 are seated correctly in their fittings 8 .
Note: When a bulb 6 is defective, the rest of the
bulbs 6 will not continue to illuminate. It is recom-
mended that any defective bulbs 6 are replaced
immediately by new bulbs. To do this check each
bulb
6 in the series.
Place the LED light set 1 in the desired location
(e.g. Christmas tree).
Note: Ensure that the LED light set
1 is held
in place by means of the supplied attachment
clips
5 only.
Insert the mains plug 4 into a suitable mains
socket. The light set is switched on.
Pull the mains plug 4 out of the mains socket
to switch off the product.
Changing bulbs
DANGER TO LIFE BY ELEC-
TRIC SHOCK! Always unplug the mains plug 4
from the socket before installation, dismantling,
maintenance or cleaning.
CAUTION! RISK OF BURNS! Allow the
string of lights 1 to cool down completely before
changing the bulbs 6 .
