Installation safety instructions

Make sure that the product is only installed by
competent persons.

The rope light can be installed on all normally
inflammable surfaces with the enclosed mounting
parts.

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!

Make sure that there are no power, gas or
water lines located where you wish to drill. Check
with a cable and pipe locator if necessary be-
fore you begin drilling.

Before installation, check whether the surface is
suitable for the mounting parts and the weight
of the rope light. If you are in any doubt, consult
an electrical specialist for advice.

Do not use sharp and / or pointed objects such
as wire, nails or fasteners to mount the rope light.

Do not attach any additional objects to the
rope light.

Avoid excessive bending of the rope light. This
can damage the insulation.

The bending radius of the rope must not fall
below the following value: rope diameter between
10–14 mm: 2 cm.

Avoid excessive heating of the rope light. A
maximum of two sections of rope may cross or
run parallel to each other.

Installation

Note: The rope light

can be mounted on all

surfaces officially classified as being of “normal
flammability” by means of the supplied attachments.
Note: You will need a cross-head screwdriver in or-
der to mount the attachment clips

to install the product.

Use

Plug the mains plug into the socket.

The lighting is switched on.

To turn the lighting off, remove the mains plug
from the socket.

Cleaning and care

CAUTION! RISK OF ELECTRIC
SHOCK! First remove the mains plug
from the socket.

Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items.
This would damage the device.

Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for
cleaning.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recy-
clable materials, which you may dispose
of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for
more details of how to dispose of your worn-out
product.

dispose of the product properly when it
has reached the end of its useful life and
not in the household waste. Information
on collection points and their opening
hours can be obtained from your local
authority.
