Designated Use:

Electronic Sudoku has been developed as a game for non-commercial use.
Recommended for ages 10 years and up.

Safety Advice:

• Remove the film protecting the batteries from the back of the product via the

opening in the casing.

• To avoid damage, the apparatus must not be subjected to strong physical impact!
• To avoid damage do not place the apparatus directly in the sun!
• Warning! Danger of suffocation because of small parts! Not suitable for children under 3 years old!

Care and Storage:

Always store this item in a clean, dry place, and at a constant temperature.
Important! Clean the unit, including the touch screen, only with a cleaning cloth.

Advice for Disposal:

Please dispose of the packaging and Sudoku after sorting into types of material, and in an
environmentally friendly way! Dispose of the items through an authorised waste disposal
company, or through your local authority. Be careful to comply with the current valid regulations.

The product was manufactured with the greatest care and regular testing.
This product comes with a 3-year warranty as of the date of purchase. Please keep the receipt.
The warranty only covers material and production errors and will not cover improper or inappropriate
handling. Your legal rights, in particular statutory rights are not restricted with this warranty.
In the event of a warranty matter, please contact us free of charge via our Service-Hotline or
send us an email. In any case, we will be more than happy to provide you with personal advice.
In the event of a warranty matter, defect parts can be shipped cash on delivery to the indicated
service-address in coordination with our service-colleagues. Subsequently you will promptly receive a new
or repaired part free of charge. The warranty period will not be extended due to any repairs based on
warranty, statutory guarantee or fair dealing. This also applies to replaced and repaired parts.
Any repairs required after the warranty has expired are chargeable.

Game Settings

Note: For saving current scores, please pause the game prior to switching off the

gadget! Otherwise, the scores are deleted.

Starting the Game:

Choosing the skill level:
• At the beginning of a new game, on the right next to Level, the current skill level will flash.
Change the skill level by typing in SELECT NUMBER. (Level 1 = easiest level, Level 8 = hardest

level, Level 9 = Option to create your own puzzle).
• If you keep the selected number of a skill level pressed down, the 5 best results for this skill level

will be displayed for as long as you keep this key pressed down.

Choose Puzzle:
• Press CLEAR to choose the various games within a particular skill level.

Start Game:
• Press START to start a game in the chosen skill level. At the same time the counter will start to run.
(Counter is from 00:00 to 59:59. Then the counter will start again from 00:00, and the game

will keep running).

Making Adjustments during the Game:

Pause/continue game:
• Press PAUSE to pause the game and the counter.
Press START to continue the game and the counter.

Help support:
• By pressing CLEAR/HELP the correct number for the selected cell will be shown. In the position

of the counter, H - 1 will appear briefly. In all there are 4 types of help available (H -1 to H - 4).

Delete entry/New game:
• Press CLEAR/HELP longer than 4 seconds to delete all the entries you have made.
The game and the counter will re-start. Begin the game from the beginning or press SOLVE
to return to the choice of skill levels.

Check entry/ New game:
• Press SOLVE to check the solution to your puzzle.
If this is false, ERR and the paused counter will flash alternately. Press START or MODE to return

to the game. By pressing START for longer than 2 seconds the complete solution to the puzzle

will be shown as long as you keep START pressed down. When you release START you will be

given the choice of skill levels, and then you can begin a new game.

The correct solution:
• Press SOLVE to check the solution of a game. If this is correct, GOOD will appear on the display.
Next, press any random key on the display to show the top 5 scores for the selected skill level.
If you reach one of the top 5 scores, the position you reach will be underlined, otherwise the time
you achieved and ‘?’ will be displayed. Press any random key on the display to return to the

choice of skill levels.

Creating your own Puzzles:

• Advice: With your own puzzles there is no help support available.
• Select Difficulty Level 9. (See: Begin game, select Difficulty Level)
• Press SET to enter the fixed pre-entered numbers in the grid (SE-P will be displayed).
• Press START or SET to start the game using the entered numbers. The apparatus will save your

selected numbers, which will be shown the next time you select the SE-P mode.
• In the SE-P mode, pressing CLEAR will delete the current entered numbers. The saved numbers

will remain available.
• In the SE-P mode, pressing CLEAR for longer than 4 seconds will delete all the saved numbers.
