Unpacking
1. Remove all parts from the packaging.
2. Check that all parts are present and in-
tact.
5. Interchangeable
plates
With this waffle iron you can prepare three
different types of waffle:
-
Waffles (Belgian style) using inter-
changeable plates7a
- Waffle nuts (for filling) using inter-
changeable plates7b,7c
- Shaped waffles (for filling) using inter-
changeable plates7d,7e
To prepare the different types you can swap
the interchangeable plates7.
DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!
Pull the mains plug out of the wall
socket, before removing or inserting
the interchangeable plates.
DANGER! Risk of injury
through burning! Wait for the
device to cool down before remov-
ing the interchangeable plates.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age! Only use the interchangeable plates in
matching pairs, never combine different in-
terchangeable plates with one another.
5.1 Removing
interchangeable plates
1. Undo the device lock3 and open the
device.
2. Figure A: slide the upper release but-
ton6 in the direction of the arrow and
at the same time slightly tilt the upper
part8, so that you can remove the up-
per interchangeable plate (7a,7b
or7d).
3. Slide the lower release button6 in the
direction of the arrow and at the same
time lift the lower interchangeable
plate (7a,7c or7e) out of the device.
5.2 Inserting
interchangeable plates
1. Undo the device lock3 and open the
device.
Lower interchangeable plate:
NOTE: the lower interchangeable plates for
waffle nuts7c and shaped waffles7e are
the ones with depressions for the batter.
2. Insert the lower interchangeable plate
(7a,7c or7e) with the large catch-
es10 in the back of the holders.
3. Press the lower interchangeable plate
(7a,7c or7e) down, so that the small
catches9 at the front lock into place.
Upper interchangeable plate:
4. Insert the upper interchangeable plate
(7a,7b or7d) with the large catch-
es10 in the bottom of the holders.
5. Press the upper interchangeable plate
(7a,7b or7d) against the upper part
of the device, so that the small catch-
es9 at the top lock into place.
