Removing the rechargeable batteries

CAUTION! Do not operate a hair and beard clippers that has been taken apart!
Do not short-circuit the dismantled rechargeable batteries; they could be very hot if
they are still live!

This is how you take the device apart so that it can be disposed of in an environmentally
friendly way:

Disconnect the cable from the hair and beard clippers.

Discharge the rechargeable batteries completely by allowing the switched-on hair and
beard trimmer to come to a complete standstill without the adaptor cable being plugged in.

Remove the comb attachment

and the shaver head

(see Fig. A-D).

Unscrew the three screws on the back of the device with a small crosshead screwdriver
(see Fig. F).

Fold the two halves of the casing apart (see Fig. G).

Remove the board from its mounting by carefully pressing the black mounting clips on the
sides away from the board (see Fig. H and I).

Using a pair of pliers or a side cutter, cut through all cables.

Remove the rechargeable batteries from the board (see Fig. J) and dispose of them at a
suitable collection point.

It is illegal to dispose of rechargeable batteries/batteries with normal domestic

waste. Please dispose of the rechargeable batteries via the collection system or a
specially provided collection box in the shop.

Warranty and service

documents.
Our device was manufactured with the greatest of care. Nevertheless, in the event of a mal-
function we guarantee the quality and function of the product within the scope of our terms of
guarantee.
The warranty period is 36 months and begins on the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt
as proof of the purchase date. The statutory warranty is not restricted by this guarantee.

The guarantee excludes:
– parts subject to regular wear and tear such as all trimming and cutting parts,
– damage to fragile parts,
– damage resulting from unauthorised interference,
– damage resulting from the use of non-original spare parts,
