Insert the sieve carrier 5) w, WITHOUT espresso powder, into the appliance
and place a cup under the sieve carrier w. As soon as the green heating-up
control lamp 4 glows, turn the rotary switch 5 to the position “
”.
Let about 2 cups (coff ee cups) of water pass through and then stop the process. 6)
Hold a container under the milk frother 7) z.
Place the rotary switch 8) 5 at the position “ ” and wait until the green heat-
ing-up control lamp 4 glows. Slowly turn the steam control knob 2 to the
position “+ “. Allow the appliance to create steam for about 2 minutes.
After 2 minutes close the steam control knob 9) 2, set the rotary switch 5 to the
position “ ” and switch the appliance off .
Let the scaling agent take eff ect for about 15 minutes. 10)
Repeat the steps 4 - 10 three times. 11)
Then place the rotary switch 12) 5 at the position “ ” and let the solution fl ow
through until the water tank 1 is empty.
Rinse the water tank 13) 1 with clean water and then fi ll it with clean water up
to the Max marking.
Turn the rotary switch 14) 5 to the position “ ” as soon as the green heating-
up control lamp 4 glows.
Allow the water to run through. 15)
Repeat the steps 13 - 15 three times. 16)
Fill the water tank 17) 1 with water once again.
Turn the rotary switch 18) 5 to the position “ ”.
Hold a container under the milk frother 19) z and slowly rotate the steam control
knob 2 to the position “+” as soon as the green heating-up control lamp 4
glows.
After about 1 minute close the steam control knob 20) 2, set the rotary switch 5
to the position “ ” and switch the appliance off .
NOTICE
After 3 minutes the appliance will switch itself off automatically. ►
