1. With a hammer, gently tap the seam
between the gripping surface and the
casing (on the back and sides of the
appliance) to release the gripping sur-
face.
2. Pull the gripping surface off the casing.
3. Move the lower part of the casing up and
down until you can remove it.
4. Pull the rechargeable battery casing out
of the appliance and cut through both
wires with pliers.
