Cleaning the appliance
♦
Clean the housing of the appliance only with a lightly moistened cloth and a
mild detergent.
♦
Remove glue residue from the sealing wire
gently with your fi ngernail.
Cleaning the collection container
Should food remnants be unintentionally sucked in when vacuuming, the col-
lection container
protects the appliance from damage. Clean the collection
container
, as soon as contamination is visible:

Open the appliance lid and lift the suction connectors
up.
♦
Carefully pull the collection container
out of the appliance by using the
side handles to pull it.
♦
Clean it in lukewarm washing-up water and then allow it to dry well.
♦
Replace the collection container
back into the appliance and fold the
suction connectors
down.
Storage
The appliance has a built-in cable winder on the underside of the housing, on
which you can wrap the power cable when it is not in use. This prevents the
power cable from being pinched, damaged or soiled, and it cannot become
a source of danger by hanging loosely down.

Store the appliance in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Disposal
Do not dispose of this appliance with your normal household
waste. This product is subject to the provisions of the European
Directive 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment).
Dispose of the appliance through an approved disposal centre or at your com-
munity waste facility. Observe the currently applicable regulations. In case of
doubt, please contact your waste disposal centre.
