3.) Tune in to a station.

Manual Tuning:

Press the

buttons as many times as required until

the frequency of the desired station appears on the display.

Automatic Tuning:

Hold the

or

buttons for approximately 2 seconds. The Tuner will begin scanning

up or down automatically and will lock onto the next strong signal.

Insert 8 UM-2 ( size C ) batteries.

For private listening

Plug in headphones (ø 3.5 mm stereo mini-
plug) to the PHONES jack on back panel.
W hen headphones are plugged in, the
speakers are automatically disconnected.

To adjust the VOLUME and BASS

2.) Set to desired Function AM or FM by

pressing RADIO button, then BAND
button.

1.) Press POWER button to turn power ‘On’

BATTERY OPERATION

Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC
socket of the unit. Battery power is cut

connected.

When the volume decreases, or the sound
distorts, replace all of the batteries with new
ones.

AC OPERATION

Connect the smaller end of the AC power
cord to the AC socket on the back cabinet.
Insert the plug into your 120 volt 60Hz
household AC outlet.

CAUTION
To prevent electrical shock, match wide
blade of plug to wide slot and insert fully.
