Replacing the Lamp

Although lamp life results vary depending on environmental
conditions and usage, the projection lamp typically lasts about
3400 hours in high brightness mode or 3900 hours in low
brightness mode. It is time to replace the lamp when:
❏ The projected image gets darker or starts to deteriorate.
❏ The message

Replace the Lamp

appears on the screen and

when the lamp comes on and the lamp warning light

flashes orange. To maintain projector brightness and image
quality, replace the lamp as soon as possible.

❏ The lamp warning light

flashes red (the lamp is burnt

out).

Note: Turn off the projector when not in use to prolong the life of
the projection lamp.

You can see how long the lamp has been in use by checking
the

Lamp Hours

option in the projector’s Info menu. (See the

User’s Guide for more information.)
