Q With the Internal Network Option, the standard Port 2 on the Nexus 1250/1252 becomes a
“gateway” to allow additional Nexus Meters access via the LAN. Simply connect a daisy chain of
Nexus Meters together via RS-485, each with its own device address and using the same baud rates.
With this option, you can access any of those instruments via the single LAN connection.
Q The Internal Network Option allows multiple simultaneous connections (via LAN) to the Nexus.
You can access the Nexus with SCADA, MV90 and RTU all at the same time.
Q The Internal Network Option allows multiple users running Communicator EXT software to access
the meter concurrently.
