Quick hear-through function

This function enhances external sound by focusing on people’s voices. The volume of music being played back
decreases automatically. It is useful for when you want to listen to public transportation announcements or people’s
voices.

Press and hold (about 1 second) the multifunction button on the R (right) side headphone and release
your finger when you hear the confirmation sound.

With every pressing and holding, the quick hear-through function will be turned on/off (you can
also turn it off by pressing the multifunction button on the L (left) side headphone).

The quick hear-through function cannot be used during a call.

Depending on your surroundings, the ambient sounds may be difficult to hear even when using the quick
hear-through function. Do not use the product in places that are dangerous if you cannot hear the
surrounding sounds, such as places with heavy traffic.

When the quick hear-through function is turned on, do not cover the microphone with your hand. If you do
so, a loud sound (howling) will be emitted, and it may adversely affect your hearing ability.
