❏ Never turn off the printer while replacing the ink cartridge. Doing so may damage the IC chip
on the ink cartridge and the printer may not print properly.
❏ To ensure you receive premium print quality and to help protect your print head, a variable ink
safety reserve remains in the cartridge when your printer indicates to replace the cartridge. The
yields quoted for you do not include this reserve.
Replacing an ink cartridge
New :Only for dye ink with check position Only for pigment ink with check positionIn case of SPC or Standalone printer, use <HASEI> part. To replace the ink cartridge, follow the steps below.
1. Open the cartridge cover.
2. Move the cartridge lever to the unlocked position.
