Adjust the gain and
equalization before
installing the CVEQ1 AAP
or CVEQ1 WM into a wall
or furniture, as the gain and
equalization adjustment
controls will be inaccessible
after installation.
produces a gain adjustment ranging from -6dB
to +6dB. Select the setting that gives the best
picture brightness.
You can judge the adjustment visually by
looking at the display. For a more precise
setting you can use an oscilloscope or a
waveform monitor connected to the far
end of the output cable, and adjust the
gain so that the level at the waveform
monitor is 100 IRE.
2 Equalization adjustment control
(Equalize)

and peaking to get a sharp picture, rotate
