Setting The Time Display Mode (12 Hour/24 Hour Display)

You have the option of displaying the time in 12-Hour or 24-Hour modes.

12-Hour Mode - The time is displayed in 12-hour cycles with PM indicator. This is

the factory default setting.

24-Hour Mode - The time is displayed in 24-hour cycles with no PM indicator. This

is sometimes referred to as “Military Time”.

For example, “PM 6:00” would be displayed as “18:00”.

If you wish to change the display from the 12-hour mode to the 24-hour mode,

press the Mode button 4 times, or until “12hr” is flashing in the display.

Then press either the Tuning + (

) / (

) buttons on the top panel or TUN

/

buttons on the remote control to alternatively to switch between the 12-hour

and 24-hour display modes.

After 10 seconds the display will return to the correct time, and the time will be

displayed in the mode you selected.

Setting The Year

Press the Mode button 5 times, or until the year “2006” starts

flashing in the display.

If necessary, while the year is flashing press the Tuning + (

) button on the top

panel or TUN

button on the remote control to advance the display to the

correct year.

After 10 seconds the display returns to the correct time.

Setting The Month and Date

Press the Mode button 6 times, or until “1/ 1” is flashing

in the display.

Press the Tuning + (

) / (

) buttons on the top panel or TUN

/

buttons on the remote control to set the display to the correct Month then press the

Volume + or Volume – buttons to set the display to the correct Date.

After 10 seconds the display returns to the correct time, month, and date.
