(THROTTLE LOCK)

THROTTLE TRIGGER

n Operate blower at the lowest possible throttle speed to

do the job.

n Check your equipment before operation, especially the

muffler, air intakes, and air filters.

n Use rakes and brooms to loosen debris before blowing.
n In dusty conditions, slightly dampen surfaces when water

is available.

n Conserve water by using power blowers instead of hoses

for many lawn and garden applications, including areas
such as gutters, screens, patios, grills, porches, and
gardens.

n Watch out for children, pets, open windows or freshly

washed cars, and blow debris safely away.

n Use the full blower nozzle extension so the air stream can

work close to the ground.

n After using blowers or other equipment, CLEAN UP!

Dispose of debris in trash receptacles.

n The wide sweeper nozzle allows for large areas to be

covered during blowing operation.

CRUISE CONTROL (THROTTLE LOCK)

See Figure 7.
The cruise control (throttle lock) can be used to operate the
blower without continuously holding the throttle trigger.
TO ENGAGE THE CRUISE CONTROL:
n For full throttle, depress the throttle trigger fully and slide

the cruise control selector as far forward as possible.

n

To reduce engine speed, slide the cruise control selector
toward the back of the blower until the desired speed is
reached.

n

To release the cruise control, return the cruise control
selector to the off position.
