Possible Cause Correction
1. Check air filter. Air filter clogged. Clean or replace air
filter (P. 34).
2. Check fuel. Bad fuel; tiller stored
without treating or
draining gasoline, or
refueled with bad
gasoline. Drain fuel tank and
carburetor (p. 42).
Refuel with fresh
gasoline (p. 25).
3. Take tiller to an
authorized Honda
servicing dealer, or
refer to the shop
manual.
Fuel filter clogged,
carburetor
malfunction, ignition
malfunction, valves
struck, ect. Replace or repair
faulty components as
necessary.
