1. Press GUIDE, then press 5.
The "TAPE DATA MENU" will appear.
"TAPE DATA <ON>" is specified at the factory.
2. Press 1 to switch "1 TAPE DATA <ON>" to "<OFF>".
Specifying <OFF> disables the Tape Navigation feature. When "1 TAPE DATA
<OFF>" is specified, the options "2 AUTO TITLE <ON/OFF>", "3 DELETE TAPE NO.
DATA", and "4 DISPLAY TAPE NO. DATA" are not displayed.
Each time you press 1, <ON> and <OFF> alternate.
3. Press GUIDE after you are done with the set-up.
AUTO TITLE <ON>/<OFF>
When you do not want to store program titles in memory, specify "AUTO TITLE <OFF>"
as follows.
1. Press GUIDE, then press 5.
The "TAPE DATA MENU" will appear.
"AUTO TITLE <ON>" is specified at the factory.
2. Press 2 to switch "2 AUTO TITLE <ON>" to "<OFF>".
After <OFF> is specified, no program titles are stored in memory. Instead of a title,
the recording date, recording start time and channel will be stored.
Each time you press 2, <ON> and <OFF> alternate.
3. Press GUIDE after you are done with the set-up.
