SERVICING YOUR OUTBOARD MOTOR
FUEL HOSES
SCREW (3)
SUSPENSION STRAP FUEL FILTER
(inside strainer cup) ENGINE COVER LATCH
UNLOCK
Remove the suspension strap from
the strainer bracket, then remove
the strainer assembly from the
strap.
Before removing the fuel filter, to
prevent fuel leakage, place fuel
hose clamps on the fuel hoses on
each side of the fuel filter. Looking through the translucent
strainer cup, check the fuel filter
for water accumulation or
sediment. Remove the engine cover. 3. 2. 1.
