WEP key will determine the amount of encryption used in your

data transmission. The longer your key is, the more processing

power is used which will affect your data transmission speeds.

Key Format: You may select ASCII Characters (alphanumeric

format) or Hexadecimal Digits (in the "A-F " , " a-f" and "0-9"

range) to be used as your WEP Key.

Key 1 – Key 4: The WEP keys are used to encrypt data
transmitted through your wireless network. Fill in the data key

text box by following the rules below.

64-bit WEP: input 10-digit Hex values (in the "A-F", "a-f" and

"0-9" range) or 5-digit ASCII characters as the encryption keys.

128-bit WEP: input 26-digit Hex values (in the "A-F", "a-f"

and "0-9" range) or 10-digit ASCII characters as the encryption

keys.

Default Key: Select one of four keys to encrypt your data. You
may change the default values of the predefined keys. Only the

key you select as the “Default key” will be used.
