Maintenance

The following sections are concerned with proper maintenance of the
cleaner. Familiarize yourself with these home maintenance tasks and
keep this owner’s manual in a convenient place where you can refer to it

when needed. Proper use and care of your cleaner will assure continued

cleaning effectiveness.

The dust cup

The dirt picked up by the cleaner

is deposited into the dust cup.

When empty, the dust cup can

be cleaned with a damp cloth or
rinsed with water. Be sure cup is

dry before re-using.

When to empty dust cup

Frequently check the dirt level in

the dust cup. It is recommended
that you empty the dust cup
when the dirt level reaches the

“Full Line” on the back of the
cup.
If more dirt is allowed to ac-
cumulate, your cleaner may not
operate effectively and spillage

may occur when cup is removed.

How to empty dust cup

Disconnect cleaner from elec-

trical outlet.

1. Place handle in operating posi-

tion and unhook spring from han-
dle.

2. While holding the top of the

lease the dirt accumulated in the

dle in upright position. Allow a few

the cup, release the two latches by
