Using the Control Panel 115
The table below contains the lights showing the errors, a brief description and suggestions
for correcting the problem.
= on, = flashing
Light Description
The printer is ready to print.
The printer is starting.
The printer is printing.
The printer is cleaning the print head.
The printer is charging the ink.
The print job is canceled.
Lights Problem and solution
Ink end
The installed ink cartridge is
expended. Replace the ink cartridge.
Ink cartridge error
The ink cartridge is not installed. Install an ink cartridge.
The ink cartridge is not detected. Install the ink cartridge again.
The installed ink cartridge cannot be
used with the printer. Install a genuine ink cartridge.
Ink low
The ink cartridge is nearly expended. Obtain a new ink cartridge.
