PERIMETER ALARM SYSTEM
(if equipped)
The perimeter antiĆtheft system
will help prevent your vehicle from
unauthorized entry.
Arming the system
When armed, the perimeter alarm
will help protect your vehicle from
unauthorized entry. When
unauthorized entry occurs, the
system will flash the hazard
flashers and will sound the horn.
The system is ready to arm
wheneverthe key is out of ignition.
Any of the following actions will
arm the alarm system:
•
Press the remote transmitter lock
control.
•
Lock all doors with the key.
If a dooris open, the system is
prearmed and is waiting for the
door to close. Once the doors are
closed, the system will arm in
20 seconds.
Disarming the system
You can disarm the system by any
of the following actions:
•
Unlock the doors by using your
remote entry transmitter.
•
Unlock the doors by using your
key.
