Type H Batteries

• Place both Power Wheels

®

6 volt

batteries upright in the battery
compartment directly on top of
the molded-in battery informa-
tion. Make sure the battery
connectors extend toward the
rear of the vehicle.

• Make sure a Power Wheels

®

30 amp fuse in good condition
is installed in each of the 6 volt
batteries and that the battery
connectors are snapped
together.

Important Note: Use only Power Wheels

®

Type H (9.5 Amp/hr.) batteries with Power Wheels

®

amp fuses installed. Use of any other 6 volt batteries or fuses may damage your vehicle. Make
sure that you charge the 6 volt batteries for at least 18 hours before operating your vehicle for
the first time. After first-time use, charge the 6 volt batteries for at least 14 hours after each use.
Never charge the 6 volt batteries longer than 30 hours. Failure to follow these instructions may
damage your 6 volt batteries and will void your warranty.

the batteries with the ends of the
battery retainer aligned with the
screw holes in the bottom of the
battery compartment.

• Insert two #8 x

the battery retainer and into the
battery compartment.

• Tighten the screws with a Phillips

screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
