Before using your cooktop, read this
guide carefully.

It is intended to help you operate and maintain your
new cooktop properly.

Keep it handy for answers to your questions.

Write down the model and serial numbers.

You’ll find them on a label located on the side of the
plenum under the cooktop. These numbers are also on
the Consumer Product Ownership Registration Card
that came with your cooktop. Before sending in this
card, please write these numbers here:

Model Number

Serial Number

Use these numbers in any correspondence or service
calls concerning your cooktop.

If you received a damaged cooktop…

Immediately contact the dealer (or builder) that sold
you the cooktop.

Save time and money.
Before you request service…

Check the Problem Solver in the back of this guide.
It lists causes of minor operating problems that you
can correct yourself.

— Do not store or use gasoline or other

flammable vapors and liquids in the
vicinity of this or any other appliance.

— WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS

• Do not try to light any appliance.

• Do not touch any electrical switch; do

not use any phone in your building.

• Extinguish any open flame.

• Immediately call your gas supplier from

a neighbor’s phone. Follow the gas
supplier’s instructions.

• If you cannot reach your gas supplier,

call the fire department.

— Installation and service must be

performed by a qualified installer,
service agency or the gas supplier.

explosion may result causing property
damage, personal injury or death.
