Rotating the pattern adjustment knob (see
Figure 3) changes the shape of the spray
pattern from a wide spray to a narrow
spray, as shown in
Figure 9.
The atomizing cap can be adjusted for
horizontal or vertical spraying patterns.
Spraying in the wrong direction may lead
to material build up on the atomizing cap
horn. Many performance problems are
caused by clogged atomizing holes on the
atomizing cap horns (see
Cleaning on
Page 10).
