3.2 Keypad Screen


Figure 3 shows the keypad screen. To display this screen, press either (up or down)
hard scroll button on your Palm™. To remove the screen, press either hard scroll button
again. You can also bring this screen up by using the Graffiti area to write the phone
number.

The buttons on this screen are linked to the keypad on your phone.

Pressing the back arrow deletes one digit.
Pressing the CLR button is the same as pressing the End button on your phone.

As you press the digits, the numbers will be displayed above the keypad. Hiding the
keypad will not clear the digits already entered. Pressing Send, CLR, or opening the
Phonebook, QuickDial, or Call Log screen will clear the digits entered.

While in this screen, you can enter in digits by pressing the numbers on the screen, or
by writing the digits in the graffiti area. You can even SPELL the phone number out (eg.
555-help) and the ComCenter will automatically convert the letters to numbers for you!
