Configuring TCP/IP in Windows 2000 or XP

The following instructions are for Windows 2000 or XP. For Windows 95, 98, or Me, see

“Configuring TCP/IP in Windows 95, 98, or Me”

on page 23. For a Macintosh or UNIX

system, refer to your user guide.

On the Windows Desktop, click Start.

Select Settings and then Control Panel from the pop-up menus.

Double-click the Network and Dial-up Connections icon on the Control Panel
window.

On the Network and Dial-up Connections window, click Local Area Connection
number. The value of number varies from system to system. The Local Area
Connection number Status window is displayed.
