STARTING FROM A DESIRED

TIME COUNT

Press the SEARCH MODE button repeatedly
during playback.

Press the Numeric buttons to set the desired
time count.

¡

Example: 1 hour, 23 minutes and
30 seconds

In the case of DVD, Time Search in Title is
effective, but Time Search in Chapter is ineffective.

¡

In the case of CD, Time Search in Track is effective,
but Time Search in the entire disc is ineffective.

¡

Playback from a desired time count is not available
with some discs or if the unit is in stop mode.

¡

If wrong numbers are entered, press the CLEAR
button and re-enter the correct numbers.

¡

When there is no need to enter a number, "0" appears
automatically. For example, "0:0_:_ _" appears in
the Time Search display if the total time of the disc
is less than 10 minutes.

The program setting menu screen will appear.

Press the PLAY button. Random playback
will then start.

Note

Program playback is not available during random
playback.

MARKER SETUP SCREEN

Use markers to memorize your favorite places on a
disc.

Press the SEARCH MODE button repeatedly
during playback.

¡

The display screen and Markers will appear on the
TV screen.

Press s or B to select 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9
or 10 and ensure that “- : - - : - -” appears in
the display.

When reaches the desired point, press the
ENTER button.

¡

The Title or Track and elapsed playing time will
appear in the TV screen.

To return to the Marker later, press the
SEARCH MODE button repeatedly during
playback, and
s or B to choose the desired
marker, then press the ENTER button.

Notes

Opening the disc tray, turning off the power, or
selecting AC at step 2 and pressing the ENTER
button will erase all Markers.

¡

To clear a marker, using s or B, position the cursor
on to the marker number to be cleared and press
CLEAR button.

¡

You can mark up to 10 points.

Press the SEARCH MODE button or the
RETURN button to exit.
