Scenario 1: ProFire 2626 as Clock Master

By selecting “internal” as the sync source in the Control Panel, you designate ProFire 2626 as the clock master You will
then need to select “external” (or “slave” on certain devices) mode on each of your other digital devices (this is usually an
internal menu setting on that device)

In Figure 1 below, digital multi-track recorders with ADAT optical outputs are connected to optical ports A and B of the
ProFire 2626, and a DAT machine is connected to the coaxial S/PDIF I/O ProFire 2626 is selected as the master, and all
of the other devices are set to “external” (or “slave”)
