Problems with the ice/water dispenser
Issue Possible fault Solution
The ice maker is not
producing enough ice
or the ice cubes are
misshapen. Check the water
pressure. The water
pressure must be
between 25 and 120 psi
(1.72-8.25 bar). Contact a plumber.
Check that the freezer
temperature is not too
high. See "Selecting the correct
temperature".
Change the water filter. See "Water filter".
The Ice/Water dispenser
does not appear to be
running. The appliance is not
plugged in. Check that the appliance
is connected to the power
supply.
Check that the freezer is
connected to the water
supply. See "Plumbing".
The freezer temperature
is too high. See "Setting the
temperature".
Ice is forming in the
supply hose to the ice
maker. Check the water
pressure. The water
pressure must be
between 25 and 120 psi
(1.72-8.25 bar). Contact a plumber.
Check whether the
freezer compartment
temperature is too high. See "Selecting the correct
temperature".
A noise is heard
periodically from the
Ice/Water Dispenser. The Anti-clumping feature
is activated. See "Anti-clumping" for
more information or to
deactivate.
