E-Motion speakers are fashionable high-class
products, offering pure, accurate sound and
powerful performance. The key to the
E-Motion speakers’ accurate and powerful
sound performance is a metal alloy that
conducts the sound waves superbly. This series
features 3-D Magnesium Hybrid cone woofers
that produce pure sound with amazingly low
distortion and a very even, flat frequency. The Titanium
Dome tweeter is made of a very rigid alloy, which means it
produces crystal-clear high-range sound. But this high-tech,
supershiny design is not only appealing to the eye — there is also
a practical side to the E-Motion speakers: they have multiple
installation possibilities due to Pioneer’s unique basket design and the slim
profile mid/tweeter subgrille.

❚ 3-D Magnesium Hybrid Cone & Power Blades
The E-Motion series takes a unique approach to powerful, accurate sound. This is thanks to
the spectacular alloy present in the 3-D Magnesium Hybrid cones. This material is
exceptionally rigid and ultra-light, producing highly accurate, rich sound. Magnesium is
combined with aluminium to form the E-Motion hybrid cone. Next, a Pulp Drive cone is
partially pasted onto the backside of the hybrid cone to ensure smoother frequency response.
A very light material that is resistant to longitudinal strain, pulp eliminates additional
vibration and distortion. All this results in a smoother pure sound.
Another innovative feature of the 3-D Magnesium Hybrid cones is the addition of “Power
Blades” directly onto the cone’s inner surface. These protrusions act as additional support,
eliminating unwanted vibration and increasing the rigidity of the cone. This in turn guarantees
that E-Motion speakers offer the lowest distortion possible to produce the purest,
most accurate sound and maximum power handling.
