If you do not want to be interrupted during a call, you can turn Call Waiting off
prior to making/receiving a call.
Call Hold
When you are on an active call, you can place a call on hold and make a second
call. The options “3way” and “Spkr” appear only when you are on an active call.

under “No”. If you’re a Nextel Voice Mail customer, the call
will be forwarded to your Nextel Voice Mailbox.
Press

under “Hold”. Your phone will refer to the first call as Call-1
and the second call as Call-2. If call 1 is on hold your display will read:
Call 1 - Hold 7035551234.

until you see “Wait”, then press

under “Wait”.

under “Off”. Call Waiting will be disabled for one call and
will automatically reset to “On” when you hang up.
