Setting Your Mount’s Adjustment Capabilities
The SmartView 300S features a wide-angel swivel joint
and all-directional OmniBall ™ OmniBall OmniBall for fi ne-tuning the position
of your display.
The swivel joint enables you to turn your display left
or right 160°.*
The OmniBall allows you to pivot your screen any
direction and rotate it 360°.
Before attaching your LCD TV to the four-point TV mounting
plate, you can increase or decrease the OmniBall pivot action. OmniBall OmniBall
Slide the LCD TV mounting plate onto the wall plate
as shown to the right.
By hand, remove the black plastic cap in the center
of the mounting plate, revealing the OmniBall tension OmniBall OmniBall
nut (13mm).
With a socket wrench (13mm or 1/2"), turn the tension
nut clockwise to limit pivot and rotation.
Turn the nut counterclockwise to increase pivot
and rotation.
Your mount’s wide-angle swivel joint also has an
adjustable tension screw. It can be adjusted before or after
your TV is attached to the TV mounting plate.
Remove the plastic cap on the top of the swivel joint
to access its tension screw.
With the included Allen wrench, turn the tension screw
counterclockwise to reduce tension of swivel.
Turn the screw clockwise to increase tension of swivel.
