INTRODUCTION

To get the best out of your kitchen scales
with timer and roasting thermometer,
please read through these instructions
carefully before using it for the first time.
We also recommend that you keep the
instructions for future reference, so that
you can remind yourself of the functions of
your kitchen scales.

SAFETY MEASURES

Use the kitchen scales for its intended
purpose only. The manufacturer is not
responsible for any damage resulting
from incorrect use or handling (see also
Guarantee Terms).

This kitchen scales is not suitable for
commercial or outdoor use.

The kitchen scales must not be
immersed in water or any other liquid.

The plug for the metal pin of the
roasting thermometer must not come
into contact with water or any other
liquids.

The metal pin of the roasting
thermometer should be stored out of
the reach of children.

Never try to repair the kitchen scales
yourself.

PREPARING THE KITCHEN SCALES

Before you can use the kitchen scales,
you must

o remove the strip sticking out of the

battery compartment on the
underside of the kitchen scales if
there are batteries inserted, or

o insert 2 lithium batteries (CR 2032) in

the battery compartment.

You can open the battery cover by
moving the small slide control from the
battery compartment so that it lines up
with the symbol of an unlocked
padlock.

Place the kitchen scales on a firm, even
surface, e.g. a kitchen table. The
scaless may not function correctly if
you use it on an uneven or sloping
surface.
