• If you press the TIMER button once
more, the two zeroes to the right flash,
which means that you can now set the
required number of seconds using the
arrow keys
and .
• One more press of the TIMER button
starts the countdown.
• When the timer reaches "00:00", an
alarm sounds. You can switch off the
alarm by pressing the TIMER button or
one of the other buttons.
CLEANING
• Wipe the kitchen scales and the
roasting thermometer cord (6) and the
plug with a damp cloth and a little
washing up liquid, if necessary. Do not
use scouring powder, steel wool or
strong detergents to clean the kitchen
scales, as this may scratch it.
• Wash the metal pin of the roasting
thermometer in water with a little
washing liquid.
ENVIRONMENTAL TIPS

a way as to cause minimum environmental
impact, in accordance with the regulations
of your local authority. In most cases you
can take such products to your local
recycling station.
