Setting Up Your Phone

Storing Your Name and Phone Number

To store or edit your name and phone number information on your

SIM card:

If you do not know your phone number, contact your service

provider. To view your phone number from the idle display or during

a call, see page 22.

Setting the Time and Date

To use the datebook, you must set the time and date.

Note: The first time you turn your phone on after installing or

replacing the battery, your phone prompts you to enter the time and

date.

Setting an Alert Style

Your phone can ring or vibrate when you receive a call, message,

or other event. This is called an alert. An indicator in the display
