Although you were not prompted to do so, you must restart your
computer in order for your computer to see the PCI slots in the
expansion system.
Go to:

Start

Shut Down

Choose ‘Restart’ from the drop
down menu

click OK.
After restarting, your computer should automatically find the next
PCI bridge device. It may not be obvious to you that your
computer found any new hardware, but you can verify that the
expansion system is installed correctly by checking that there are
no exclamation mark (bangs) in the Device Manager under the
PCI Bus that the expansion system is installed on.
Your device manager should now look similar to the following:
