Understanding Status
Messages

You may receive status messages under certain
conditions. Before contacting Boost Mobile

TM

Customer Care, note the message, numeric code,
and the conditions under which it appeared. The
following table lists and describes the status
messages.

Status Messages Message Description

Number Not in
Service

The number that you entered is
not valid.

User Not Available

The phone that you called is either
busy, out of coverage, or turned
off. Please try again later.

User Not Authorized The person that you called has not

purchased this service.

Please Try Later

This service is temporarily not
available. Please try again later.

User Busy in Boost
Walkie-Talkie call

The phone that you called is busy
in a Boost

TM

Walkie-Talkie call.

User Busy in Data

The phone that you called is busy
using Boost Mobile Wireless Web
services or Boost Mobile Wireless
Web services.

Service Restricted

This service was restricted by
Boost Mobile, or this service was
not purchased.

Service Not
Available

You are either out of coverage or
having problems with provisioning.

System Busy

The system is experiencing heavy
traffic. Please try again later.

Service Conflict

This service cannot be enabled
because an incompatible service
has already been turned on.

Please Try Again

An error occurred. Please try
again.

Self Check Error +
Number Code

A fault was detected with your
phone. If this error recurs, note the
error code and contact Customer
Care.

Self Check Fail +
Number Code

An operational fault was detected
with your phone. Note the numeric
code, turn your phone off, and
contact Customer Care.

PIN Blocked
Call Your Provider

The incorrect PIN was entered 3
consecutive times. You will be
unable to place or receive calls on
your phone. Contact Boost Mobile
Customer Care to have them
obtain the PIN Unblocking Key
(PUK) code.
