Two-Tone Decode
Each channel can be programmed with two-tone decode selections:
Individual Call, Group Call and Super Group Call. Your Midland Radio
Dealer can program your radio(s) for this feature. To activate or reset the
two-tone decode, press and hold the up button for 3 seconds. After two-tone
is decoded, LED will flash red then green.
VOX (Voice Operated TX)
Allows your radio to transmit with the sound of your voice for hands-free
operation. Your radio has a VOX sensitivity level adjustment for noisy or
windy conditions. The VOX icon will be displayed when option is active.
Channel Bank
With special programming by your Dealer, your radio
is capable of 16 extra channels for a total of 32. If programmed for more
channel capacity, press and hold the down button for 3 seconds. Your radio
will now set to 16 new available channels. To return back to the previous
channel bank, press and hold the down button for 3 seconds.
Mode Operation and Function Set Up
Depending on how your Dealer has programmed your radio, you may be
able to change certain modes and functions of your radio. Consult with
your Midland Radio Dealer regarding which functions are available with
your radio.

Si usted selecciona la graduación de Penalidad de Tiempo
del Temporizador (Time-Out-Timer Penalty), sus selecciones incluyen
Penalty On u Off. Cambie entre las graduaciones con los botones
ascendente o descendente. Cuando las graduaciones deseadas aparecen en
la pantalla, oprima el botón de MODE. Si usted selecciona "On", debe
seleccionar la duración de la graduación Penalty, desde 1 segundo a 100
segundos. Use los botones ascendente o descendente para cambiar,
después el botón de MODO para seleccionar el tiempo deseado. La radio
almacena su selección y retorna al modo auxiliar.

NOTA: En el submenú de Penalidad, si se selecciona "Off" oprimiendo el
botón de MODE, la función Penalidad se inhabilita, y la radio retorna al modo
auxiliar.
NOTA: Si la radio transmite en exceso del tiempo graduado, emite un tono
bip de error y la radio recibe una señal, pero NO transmite durante el tiempo
de penalidad.
Si usted selecciona la graduación de Cierre Ocupado del Canal (Busy
Channel Lockout), sus selecciones incluyen: o

ascendente o descendente. Cuando la graduación deseada aparece en la
pantalla, oprima el botón de MODE. Su radio almacena su selección On u
Off y retorna al modo auxiliar.
NOTA: Si usted selecciona "On", y el canal está ocupado, inhibe la
transmisión.
