press the MODE button to select. Repeat through these steps
to set the other Power Save function times. Example of a
display for each of these settings: (Power Save
On time); (Power Save Off time); and
(Power Save Delay time).
NOTE: Your choice of Power Save Off (not having power
save) and Power Save Off time (the amount of time which
power save stays off before re-activating) are set with two
different screen prompts. Refer to System Option Settings
Menu tree following this section.
If you choose the Clear To Talk setting, your choices
include On or Off settings. You can toggle between these
settings with the up or down buttons. When the desired
setting appears on the display, press the MODE button
to select. The radio will save your selection and return
to standby mode. Example of display: .
NOTE: If you select On, the radio issues a beep tone when
pressing the P-T-T button, letting you know that speaking
may begin.
If you choose the Roger Beep setting, your choices include
On or Off settings. You can toggle between these settings
with the up or down buttons. When the desired setting
appears on the display, press the MODE button to select.
The radio will save your selection and return to standby
m o d e .

Búsqueda del Canal Vacante
Cuando se inicia una llamada, la radio transmite en el
primer canal libre que encuentra. La parte receptora debe
responder antes de que se reasuma la búsqueda. Todas las
radios con las cuales usted intenta comunicarse deben
programarse para esta misma función búsqueda.
Supresión de un Canal
Durante la recepción de una señal o durante el período de
espera de búsqueda, si el botón MON (monitor) se oprime,
el canal que se esté sintonizando será suprimido en la lista de
búsqueda y no se volverá a sintonizar durante la búsqueda.
Cuando se apague y se encienda el radio, el canal suprimido
será incorporado nuevamente en la lista de búsqueda.
Bloqueo de Canal Ocupado
Cuando la señal RX (Recepción) esté siendo recibida,
el transmisor de radio queda inhabilitado.
Reposo Marcado
Cuando la radio se usa conjuntamente con Bloqueo de Canal
Ocupado (BCLO), la radio permite una transmisión si está
presente el tono correcto con la señal recibida.
Espera TX (Transmisión)
La función TX permanecerá activa durante aproximadamente
180 millisegundos, aun cuando el botón P-T-T (siglas en
inglés de “Oprimir Para Hablar”) se suelte cuando se usen los
tonos CTCSS. Esto elimina el ruido.
