S/PDIF Connector
Figure 23, A shows the location of the S/PDIF connector. This connector can be used
with HDMI video cards that do not work with the HD Audio Link header (see
Figure 23, B).
Table 4 shows the pin assignments and signal names for the S/PDIF connector.

Front Panel Audio Header
Figure 23, B shows the location of the front panel audio header. The front panel audio
header supports both High Definition (HD) Audio and AC’97 Audio. Table 5 shows the
pin assignments and signal names for HD Audio and Table 6 shows the pin
assignments and signal names for AC’97 Audio.
